灯湯すずらん

For the reopening in 2026 of a bathhouse that had warmed people on the shore of Lake Shirakaba for some thirty years, we designed the logos, the signs and noren curtains, and the website. Akariyu Suzuran draws rising steam in a single stroke; its kitchen, Akari, takes the shape of a lamp. Set in unbleached cream and terracotta, both settle into the lakeside. A way in to a place where locals and travellers alike can simply drop by.
